Located at the University of Rwanda's Nyagatare Campus in the Eastern Province, our College provides an exceptional learning environment within one of the country's major livestock regions and in close proximity to Akagera National Park. This geographical advantage enhances the learning experience, allowing students to gain hands-on skills and expertise in the care and management of a wide variety of animals, with a growing interest to integrating One Health (OH) approach/core competencies into all programme’s Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs). The aim is to train skilled and responsible graduates, with a high sense of a sustainable production of animal-source food, balancing the animal health and welfare, and public health (food) safety for the future generations.
